Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time world title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really happening.
